DONARE:
TO GIVE
AS A GIFT

A graduation project on organ donation, consisting of a series of illustrations.
The aim is to draw attention to organ donation and the importance of talking about it with your loved ones.

''I am a donor because I wish the person who needs it a better existence and a new life. My brother donated organs/tissue and I received lungs myself, so I know what it means.''

- ANONYMOUS

''I experienced for the first time what it is to breathe normally, thanks to him.''

- FRANCESCO

''He was probably able to save six people with his organs. We know that four persons have received the organs. Despite his young age, he had indicated that if something happened to him, he wanted to be a donor.''

- ANGELA

''I want to be a donor, but the thought of death still scares me too much.''

- ANONYMOUS

HEART BEHIND DONARE:TO GIVE AS A GIFT

DONARE: TO GIVE AS A GIFT is a project with a tragic but beautiful background. Read more about the reason why the project was made.

ORGAN DONATION

With organ donation, someone gives an organ to a person whose organ does not work (properly). We call someone who donates an organ an organ donor. The donor is always deceased, unless someone donates an organ while alive. This is only possible if you donate a kidney or part of your liver.
