''I EXPERIENCED FOR THE FIRST TIME WHAT IT IS TO BREATHE NORMALLY, THANKS TO HIM.''

My lungs were at their end. I joined the Europe waiting list 1 month before being called. I received lungs from a donor that day and experienced for the first time what it is to breathe ‘’normally’’.
 

Thanks to him I was able to continue living and consider him my hero. Especially knowing what a special person he was. I would’ve loved to meet him and think about it every day.

Sadly in Italy organ donation is not very sensitized as it is important for it to be. I want to raise awareness and inform about organ donation because of that.
