''HE WAS PROBABLY ABLE TO SAVE 6 PEOPLE WITH HIS ORGANS. WE KNOW THAT 4 HAVE RECEIVED THE ORGANS. DESPITE HIS YOUNG AGE, HE HAD INDICATED THAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO HIM, HE WANTED TO BE A DONOR.''

I've experienced organ donation up close through my son who unfortunately died in an accident. He was probably able to save 6 people with his organs. We know that 4 have received the organs. Despite his young age, he had indicated that if something happened to him, he wanted to be a donor.

It was very difficult for me because he is not allowed to live on, but the organ donation also gives me a good feeling because a number of his organs are still living on.

Therefore, talk to each other about what you do or do not want to donate. Especially in our case, after an accident, it is very helpful if you know what the person wanted.
