''THE IDEA OF ORGAN DONATION IS VERY SCARY. I ALSO THOUGHT THIS WAY BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID OF GETTING SICK MYSELF, BUT MY FATHER MADE ME REALIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF IT.''

I am registered as a donor after my death, because I have experienced firsthand how important organ donation is and how it can change someone's life.

My father is in the final stages of kidney failure. He has to undergo dialysis for 4 hours, 3 times a week. Due to his shunt, he can no longer lift heavy weights and has to restrict fluid intake and take numerous medications.

Me and my 3 other family members had ourselves tested for donation. Unfortunately I couldn't continue because they thought I was too young. This makes me feel very frustrated because my tissue and blood type match almost completely, but I still can't help him. Now we are waiting for a kidney from a deceased donor.

The idea of organ donation is very scary. I also thought this way because I was afraid of getting sick myself, but my father made me realize the importance of it. Therefore, try to consider signing up for it, because you can change someone's life and their family.
