I am not a donor myself, but a recipient. I have been transplanted twice.
When I was 15 years old, I got kidney poisoning. This led to me being on HD when I was 34. When I was 36, I had my first transplant.
That was in 2011. I had to go back to HD in 2023 and got my second transplant this year.

This has made me feel very grateful and I would therefore like to encourage people to register yourself as a donor. In some forms you can even donate by life and/or several times.
